St. Anthony Catholic School and Church in Fort Lauderdale shared a recent message about Catholic education with their parishioners.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the economy in a number of ways, it is important to not forget the financial hardships that many families are facing with their children’s education.

“Those from disadvantaged backgrounds have been greatly impacted,” Sharon Lynch Murrah, St. Anthony's director of development, said. “Now more than ever, our students need your help.”

Individuals and families who are able to help support Catholic education have been asked to search their hearts to see if they are being called to financially help those in less-fortunate financial situations.

“We are enormously proud of our community’s sense of togetherness and our determination to look out for each other,” Lynch Murrah said. “When times are difficult, we have always come together to protect the most vulnerable amongst us.”

If interested in giving, donors can do so online, by calling the church or emailing.
