Bishop William A. Wack of the diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee has continued his "Gaudiem et Spes" podcast with a two-part episode exploring a bishop’s work.

"In the latest episode of the ‘Gaudium et Spes’ podcast, Bishop Wack concludes his two-part series on 'A Day in the Life of a Bishop,’” the diocese tweeted recently. 

The podcast airs bi-weekly, and Wack uses those opportunities to tell stories and preach.

The “Gaudium et Spes” podcast is named after the Vatican II document and translates to "joy and hope,” the podcast website said. The podcast demonstrates "the Holy Spirit’s amazing work in the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee through bi-weekly episodes alternating between teaching and storytelling."

Wack leads the podcast under the guidance of the “Gaudium et Spes” document that reads, “Bishops, to whom is assigned the task of ruling the Church of God, should, together with their priests, so preach the news of Christ that all the earthly activities of the faithful will be bathed in the light of the Gospel.”

Suzanne McNinch and Chez Filippini co-host the podcast.
