St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 25

“Readiness to discard others finds expression in vicious attitudes that we thought long past, such as racism,…Racism is a virus that quickly mutates and, instead of disappearing, goes into hiding, and lurks in waiting. (Fratelli Tutti, 20). Pope Francis stated, “no one can claim to defend the sanctity of every human life while turning a blind eye to racism and exclusion.”
