Holy Spirit Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 18

“The plans of the mind belong to mortals, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.” (Proverbs 16:1) Do we seek the counsel of God in all the stage of our lives, our families, relationships, and our careers? Do we seek His will before we make many decisions in life? At times, we plan in our own way and design many ideas to put in to action. However, the scripture above says to us, that we may plan many things but the final answer is from God. 

God our creator surely has a special plan for each one of us before we are even born, before we are even created in the womb of our mother “... for our better future and prosperity not for any destruction …” as it says in (Jeremiah 29:11) For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. We need to seek the will of God in our lives and submit every plan that we have in mind to God and trust in Him completely, Do not be anxious and worried because the plan God has for us is for our welfare and good and full of hope. Amen.  Let us pray! Lord our Creator have mercy on each one of us to direct and guide each and every one of our thoughts in our minds according to thy will. In Jesus name we pray to submit every plan in our life completely trusting in You. Amen.
