St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Oct. 4

On Saturday, October 31, at 9 am, we will have our annual Candle Lighting Ceremony held in the Main Sanctuary. The Mass is in remembrance of our beloved dead of this past year (Nov. 2019 – Nov. 2020) who are now part of the Communion of Saints. All are welcome from all parishes. We remember those who have died, and since we do not know the specific hour of their judgment, we continue to ask God to be merciful to them.

We have the names of the people who have had funerals here at St. Timothy. We would also like to recognize those who have lost a family member or friend this past year during this Mass of Remembrance. Many of our parishioners have been unable to travel to funerals of loved ones due to Covid19. This is a loving and peaceful way to pray for them. 

If you plan to attend this Mass and would like a family member or friend to be remembered by lighting a candle for them, please call the office at (813) 968-1077, leave your name and the name of the deceased. Please let us know by Friday, October 23.
