St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church issued the following announcement on Sept. 27

Among the four living creatures of the Apocalypse, the Gospel according to John has most often been identified with the eagle soaring above the earth. The fourth gospel was the most significant for early Christian understanding of the person of Christ.

As St. Augustine mused, “John spoke about the Lord’s divinity in a way that no one else ever did.” Our class in October will continue our exploration of the Gospels as we turn to the Gospel of John. We will meet in the Parish Hall on Thursdays following the morning Mass - October 1 - November 5. Sessions will also be live streamed.
