Fr. Nelson Restrepo of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tampa expressed his gratitude to each of the participants in the Faith, Hope and Courage initiative.

The financial commitments expressed through the initiative allow the church to budget for each of its ministry areas and the amount of assistance it will be able to provide the community, Restrepo said in the church's Sept. 13 bulletin.

Restrepo also noted that the intentions of those who requested prayer have been placed on the altar and will be lifted as an offering during the month of September. The information is also included in the bulletin to allow for the community to lift up those concerns together.

Additionally, pledge cards can be completed online at www.stjosephchurchtampa.org, or they can be mailed to the parish office. All parishioners were asked to respond. The goal is for all to place their faith in action in this way. Fr. Restrepo concluded by again thanking everyone who continues to support St. Joseph Church with their time, treasure and talents.
