St. Thomas University is taking steps to streamline their response to campus COVID-19 threats, a release issued on the school's website said.

Students, faculty and staff are being asked to download the Rave Guardian app, which is a replacement for the in-person temperature checks that were being carried out at the campus previously.

The app will give users a daily survey to fill out, and upon completion of the survey the users will be informed of whether they are allowed to attend the campus or not.

The survey’s questions will help users to assess if they have been in contact with the coronavirus or if they are themselves at risk of carrying the virus.

The app is free to download and use and will provide much-needed information to the university’s staff and students alike. Daily screening notifications will be sent at 7 a.m. to ensure that the surveys are completed in a timely manner for everyone who has to be on campus during the day.
