As social distancing continues to be a guideline amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Culture of Life Conference will be held virtually on Saturday, Oct.24, a release on the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops website said.
The event, which was previously called the Respect Life Conference, has the goal of recognizing the importance of all human life. The event will cover various topics, from the unborn to the theology of the human body, the end of life, and the death penalty. Church leaders and those in the community who are interested in learning more about the culture of life are encouraged to participate.
The State Pro-Life Coordinating Committee and the Florida Catholic Conference both sponsor the event annually. Different Florida dioceses take turns hosting the event each year.
Anyone interested in attending is required to register ahead of the conference. Those who register are encouraged to make a donation of $25.
