The Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kissimmee recently announced on Facebook that the Rev. Juan Osorno is leaving the assignment for the position of administrator at St. Mary of Rockledge, where he will be the new parish priest of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation. 

Osorno has been at Holy Redeemer since his pastoral year as a seminarian and then through his diaconal summer. He has now been a priest for three years. 

Osorno will be departing on August 16. Those interested in saying goodbye can do so on August 3, 4 and 6 after the 7 p.m. Mass.

Holy Redeemer is confident that the parish will not be left without spiritual guidance, especially given the fact that the pandemic is making regular services and activities at the church quieter. The Holy Redeemer Catholic Church is praying that more bilingual priests will be brought up to cover the demands of the parishes throughout the state.
