Any church needs someone to put together the parishioner database and make sure people know about events and other parish news, and for Corpus Christi Catholic Church the man behind that is Fatimo Garcia.

Garcia works at the parish office and is head of communications. But his responsibilities go beyond that. He also organizes discussions between missions and people who have scheduled visits to the chapel of the blessed sacrament, the church bulletin reported. 

Garcia considers Corpus Christ, located at NW 7th Ave in Miami, as part of his extended family. Garcia said the church has brought him great joy and enabled him to serve his community.

Garcia said attending the Church has helped him become a better person. He credits the Rev. Jose Luis and his guiding sermons for helping develop him into the person he's become, the bulletin reported.
