All Souls Catholic Church celebrates the work of "doers," who live their lives through Christ. | https://allsoulssanford.org/
Individuals from All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford are devoting themselves to Christ every day through selfless and dedicated acts that serve the Holy Spirit, according to the July 12 church bulletin.
All Souls recognized five individual church staff members for being "doers" in Christ. They are Operations Manager Stephen Gensel; Parish Receptionist Amy Scott; Sacristan Nancy Whitman, Hispanic Minister Dulce Rodriquez, and volunteer Christina Kaklsz.
"There are many that answer the call of the Holy Spirit," the bulletin stated. "Here are just a few of the doers called by Our Lord to do His work, for His people."

Gensel works with lights, pipes and many other maintenance needs. Not only does he work with maintenance, but he manages finances as well. He manages logistics, human resources, facilities and meetings.
Scott plays a critical role at All Souls Catholic Church. She is the "hub at the center that makes it roll," the bulletin said. "She produces reports, routes calls, manages schedules, assists the managers and priests, maintains data and so much more. She does it all with a smile."
Whitman also works with the Church through volunteering her time at Masses, duties of Sacristan and often reads during the Mass. Her work for God isn't limited by just those duties, either.
"What’s more, she serves on the bereavement ministry, handling the parish funerals, and she recruits the Harvest Festival volunteers," the bulletin stated.
Rodriquez also has duties in every corner of the Church, from Masses, the chapel, the office, weddings, funerals, baptisms, Sacristan, Eucharistic ministry and many other duties. She works with both English- and Spanish-speaking parishioners.
"Everyone turns to her in both the English-speaking and Hispanic communities," the bulletin said. "To cap it off, she’s super sweet just like her name!"
Kalisz is the co-chair of the Missionary Discipleship team, which is what leads Testimony Tuesdays at All Souls Catholic Church. Not only that, but she is part of the Pastoral Council, which leads the parish into the future. This makes Kalisz not just a doer in Christ, but a mover as well.
