St. Peter Catholic Church Jupiter issued the following announcement on June 21
On page 4 of the bulletin is the current status of our DSA campaign. We are appreciative of the many generous parishioners who have contributed so far this year. However, we are still in need of approximately $90,000 in new gifts in order to meet our Diocesan assessment. To help us get there, we will have monthly second collections for the DSA for five of the seven months left until the end of the year. The campaign ends on December 31 and if we have not met our assessment, we will be billed for the balance due. We have included money in the next budget (which starts on July 1) to pay for this shortfall in case we do not receive the funds
The DSA amount for each parish is 18% of all revenue coming in minus a few items. If the Diocese maintains the same formula, it is estimated that our DSA in 2021 will be approximately $350,000 ($25,000 less than this year) due to the reduction in revenue due to Covid19. Once again, we are truly grateful to our very generous parishioners in helping us reach this goal. Please prayerfully consider making a donation to the DSA campaign at this time. Please see our website for more information.
